Academics
Schooling
I did my schooling at Silver Hills English High School, Calicut. Life at Silver Hills was really a cool one. It was run by CMI Fathers and it was from here that i got some real good friends. I was lucky enough to spend my entire school life, thats from Class 1 to Class 10, in Silver Hills.
College Life
My college life started from the famous Govt. Arts and Science College where my dad was the head of Physics department. For 18 years Calicut was my home town.
My Mom and Dad belong to Kannur, the LAND of LOOMS & LORES. My dad was working in Calicut as a Professor in Physics at the same college where i did my Pre Degree.
In 1998 my Dad got a transfer from Calicut to Tellicherry Govt. Brennen College(GBC). So we also had to accompany him. Thus my life in Calicut ended and a new life started in Kannur. I joined Govt. Brennen College for B.Sc. Mathematics.
Life at DMS
After graduating in Mathematics from GBC I joined The Department of Management Studies(DMS) of Kannur University for doing Master of Business Administration. I did my MBA in Finance and Marketing as my specialised subjects. It was from here my professional career was moulded. I was lucky enough to do my summer project in Indias largest private sector group "Reliance Industries Ltd".
Professional Life
After my MBA I came to Middle East in search of bright future. I wanted to start my professional career from here. Hope this happens to me soon. Im waiting patiently to get a good break through.
Yes I got a break through. On June 20th, 2004 I joined Abu Dhabi Shipping Agency, Abu Dhabi. I am working for the Sales and Marketing Department of ADSA. Life at ADSA is wonderful and I will be always thankful to Sadandan Uncle (Sweety mami's dad), Mr.Ashok Pillay(Sales Director, Middle East, APL), Prakash Uncle etc for referring me to this company.
June 20th, 2005 I completed my 1 year at ADSA. Joined ADSA as a fresher and thanks to the training given by my Managers Mr.Venkat Ramani and Mr.Gurumurthy and all the other staff today I am confident of myself in this Industry.
January 20th, 2005
I gave my resignation at ADSA as I got my offer letter from the world number one Freight and Logistics company Danzas (Owned by Deutsche Post and now Danzas is better known as DHL Global Forwarding).
February 27th, 2005
Joined DHL Global Forwarding as Business Development executive responsible for the sales and marketing of Danzas services which included Air Freight, Sea Freight and Land Transportation.
May 18th, 2008
I have been officially appointed as the Key Account Manager of DHL Global forwarding Abu Dhabi Station (Danzas Abu Dhabi LLC) also the additional responsility of Intra EMA coordinator has been given in the wake of DHL Global Forwarding 12th EMA conference held at Malta.
Till date with DHL Global Forwarding in Abu Dhabi.
